La Rose Couture heeft op Castlefest, de zaterdag (2 augustus) en de zondag (3 augustus) een Modeshow!
De bedoeling is dat de ballerina of burlesque danseres haar act om mijn modellen heen bouwt.
Er zijn meederede fotografen aanwezig die foto's maken van de show, je zult alle foto's krijgen.

The Costumes look amazing, i would love to see this movie!
Except..Keira Knightly in a costume movie?
She wasn't that great as a an 18th Cenutry lady in Pirates ,i refused to see Pride&Prejudice (i love the BBC series!) but i can't see she's really one for historcal costumes.
She even looks a bit slouchy in her costumes, as if she wasn't wearing her stays or did not lace them properly.
We will see..

I have found this website amazingly intresting, intervieuws with great costumiere's, drafting classes, how to make your own Victorian corset and many many more!!
I have become a member and cannot rip myself from this website, the tips and advise given are amazing and simpley put.
Most costumiere's en Corsetiere's keep everything to themselves, tips,tricks and secrest.
But these wonderful people don't!!!

Viona asked me to make her a wintercoat, made from a Vogue pattern from Oscar de La Renta.
It was absolutly horrid!!!!!
The instuctions where very confusing,pointless,minimal and faulty!
Also with the adjustments she wanted,it made it a project from hell..
The lining is made from fleece (is a good translation? it's made from the same fabric, ski-jumpers are made from) and it was ofcourse very bulky.
She needed it to be warm, i adjusted the sleeves, the size,the innersleeves i drafted myself as wel as adjusted the bodice to be more snug and waisted.
But i must say, this coat kept me up at nights..as there were so many mistakes in the pattern as wel as sizing and instructions i was testing and trying more then actually sewing!
But it's finished and sent to her, hopefully she likes...please like it!!!!

i got hacked last Tuesday by some angy dutch person..i have 2 vilains in mind, but sadly cannot offically point a finger.
My super neighbour is a wizzkid and has cleaned out my computer and killed all the viruses!
But just to be cautious..i have asked for a new IP Adres, this means i'll have to be ofline for 24 hours.
Wich means NO internet and NO phone.
